Post 3: Climate Change
Hello
everyone. Today I will share with you some thoughts I have on climate change.
We live on
a planet that is so beautiful, diverse and large. However, humanity has taken
control of resources and spaces, creating an idea of supremacy over the rest of
the living beings with whom we share the Earth, examples; deforestation, the
construction of metropolis eliminating in many areas natural habitat of
animals.
Urban
development and industrialization have brought pollution to the planet. Even
when the responsibility is shared, the big polluters like the USA, India, China,
etc., their governments do not give real space to a plan or an answer to face
the climatic emergency. I personally think the same as Greta Thunberg, in
pointing out that international deals like the Paris Agreement or UNFCCC are
all talk, and it is necessary to demonstrate facts and not just words in this
" countdown inside the hourglass”. People must make efforts to raise
awareness and save natural resources, in addition to demonstrating to those in
power for real changes. If we do nothing now, we will be lost.
I totally agree with you, at this time it´s necessary to take international action to reverse climate change
